About StackTower
StackTower is a one-button stacking game. A block slides back and forth above your tower; drop it at the right moment and it lands on top. Anything that overhangs the block below is sliced off, so the tower gets narrower with every imperfect drop.
How to play StackTower
- Press Build to start with a wide base block.
- Watch the next block slide in from one side.
- Tap the tower, click it or press Space to drop the block.
- The part that overlaps the block below stays; the overhang is cut off. Land within a hair of the edge for a Perfect, which keeps the full width.
- Blocks slide faster as the tower grows. The game ends when a block misses the tower completely or becomes too thin.
Scoring
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Each floor built | +100 |
| Each Perfect landing | +50 bonus |
End-of-game grades
| Tower height | Grade |
|---|---|
| More than 30 floors | Grade S |
| 21–30 floors | Grade A |
| 13–20 floors | Grade B |
| 7–12 floors | Grade C |
| 6 floors or fewer | Grade D |
Tips for a higher score
- Watch the edge of the block below, not the moving block — drop when the two edges line up.
- Perfects matter twice: they add 50 points and stop the tower from shrinking.
- On a keyboard, Space is more precise than clicking because your hand doesn't move.
- The speed rises with every floor until it hits a cap, so the first ten floors are the time to bank Perfects.
